Hmmm.. that day ikut ummi pegi shopping kat Tesco aku terasa haus sgt..tak sempat2 nak bertukar tangan dari Mak Ndak ke Ummi aku dah capai botol susu dengan pantasnya kekeke...(memandang ummi dgn muka penuh expresi lapar!!!)

Masa berlalu tanpaku menyedari..

Hmm...masa terlalu cepat berlalu.. sedar2 dh pun berada di middle of d year.. tak lama lagi dah nak mula puasa pastu dah nak start raya..hmmm...Actually nothing to update.. sesajer gatal tangan nak update even tak de story mory to share.

Dah tak lama aku akan start keja...akan terpaksa tinggalkan SWARV to my mom tak bleh nak bayang macam mana aku tanpa SWARVselama 8+jam di ofis..nanti kejap aku nak imagine yek..

Now that your baby is finally here, you should enjoy interacting with her as much as possible. Talk, read and sing to your baby. Hug, cuddle and kiss her. Spend time playing with her, following her lead once she is old enough to show you what interests her. Enjoy this special time when your child is small – it will pass by all too quickly!

Besides the essentials above, there’s plenty more you can do to engage your baby’s brain. Auditory and tactile stimulation remain important, as they were in the womb. You can also help your baby develop his motor skills – as well as teach your baby to read before he starts school!

Auditory stimulation

• Play music (see above for suitable genres) around the house. You might also consider playing foreign language CDs from time to time. Your baby will absorb the sounds of a second language subconsciously, helping her to accurately hear and pronounce that language when she’s older.
• Talk and sing to your baby as much as you can. When talking, ask questions and avoid baby talk.
• Read a large variety of books to your baby, pointing to every syllable of every word as you read

Visual stimulation

• Use infant stimulation cards in highly contrasting colors. The development of a newborn's eyes - the structures of the retina that perceive color - haven't matured enough to perceive the values and intensities of red, blue, pink, yellow, purple and green. Black and white are the easiest for babies to perceive and interest in these starkly contrasting colors will pave the way for your baby's brain development. Show your baby these cards one at a time, allowing her eyes to adjust to the different patterns on each card. Click here to download free infant stimulation cards.
• Decorate your child's immediate surroundings with images which will stimulate her. Now that you know the secret to infant visual stimulation, feel free to create your own infant stimulation tools such as black and white crib sheets, posters, and even infant mobiles!

Tactile stimulation

• Regularly massage your baby.
• Allow your baby to explore objects with different textures – rough and smooth, hard and soft – and temperatures.

Physical development

• Your baby’s physical and intellectual development are inseparable. Crawling, for example, can improve your baby’s vision, which in turn could affect how easily he learns to read and write.
• Encourage mobility by placing your baby on her tummy at regular intervals. When she’s older, give her the freedom to crawl and walk around; don’t hem her inside a restricted area such as a playpen, or do so as infrequently as possible.
• Rock and swing your baby to improve his vestibular (balance) system. Turn your baby upside down – he’ll love it!

Diet and feeding

• Mom, do your best to breastfeed – exclusively for the first 6 months, and with breast milk as your baby’s primary source of nutrition up to the age of one. Breastfeeding moms should eat a healthy, varied diet that includes plenty of fish. This will ensure that the baby's milk is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which promote brain development. For vegetarians, another excellent source of omega-3 is flax seed (also known as linseed).
• When introducing solids, expose your baby to a variety of foods as early as possible. Include  fresh vegetables and fruit, fish, meat and whole grains. Dairy products should be full-fat up to age two.

Reading and math

• You can begin teaching your baby reading and math from as early as 4 months. With consistent practice, many children taught as babies can effortlessly recognize words and perform instant math calculations before kindergarten age.

Joyful learning

• Avoid putting pressure on your child. Learning should always be a joyful experience.

Playtime

• Prioritize play – babies and children can’t learn without it. Make sure your child has plenty of toys that stimulate her to explore and be creative. Take time out on a regular basis to play with your child.

Sajer letak petikan panjang2 sbb writter tu puji melambung jugak tu yang beshhht..yang aku nak focus is VERY STUBBORN words..hmm memang kena sesangat dgn diriku. Semenjak ada SWARV ni aku kena-harus-mesti berubah.. tok leh nok stubborng-stubborn lagi dah..

perghhh... actually ni azam baru slepas di lecture I mean.. di nasihati oleh  Papa SWARV tadi hu hu hu.. ye lah ada banyak btolnyer jugak stubborn ni in a certain situation tak menguntungkan langsung malah memburukkan lagi keadaan...must slowly improve myself to be more patient+kind hearted person...tone down a bit yah dear myself :)

My boy after 1 month...

Hi All,

Lama gak on-off updating this blog..well i must enjoy this long holiday to the fullest..promise to write daily when starting July 2010..another 7 days to go for pantang.....do I strictly follow pantang rules? he he ... only me-myself know..and so my mom (pot-pet pot pet.. jgn minum air banyak...)

Alor setar ni panas gilererrr.memang aku slalu tewas dgn godaan air kosong... nikmat tul bila dapat teguk 1 mug air suam.. terasa macam nak minum lagi... tapi like usual my mom will ehem-ehem to me...so tak jadi nak refill air

Dah masuk 37 days berpantang ni aku dah mula jemu makan nasi dengan ikan rebus (which use to be my favorite masa mula2 pantang dulu). Fyi ikan kering langsung aku tak sentuh.. tekak tak lalu nak telan lah..ha ni nak citer sket pasal kes aku minum air kopi last 2 weeks...punyalah teringin nak minum so aku pun minum lah sampai 3 cawan ...mula2 my mom tak kasi but then maybe kesian kot so dia tutup mata jer tengok aku duk minum  kopi tu...siap ingatkan kan aku yang kopi boleh sebabkan pengeluaran air susu badan tersekat2 nanti..but aku as usual degil gak nak amik risiko :) as result last week aku demam sebab bengkak susu *sigh
Teruk beb demam tu.. aku tak larat nak wat apa2 pun... siap dengan pening kepala semua cukup....kesian swarv..aku terpaksa buat dono sbb tak larat sesangat...So you guys out there ingat yer jgn minum kopi during pantang period nanti seksa bengkak susu....

My LiL pRiNcE- SWARV

Dunia....5th April 2010 tepat jam 9.25 pm dengan berat 2.96kg secara normal delivery, mencatat history in my life...kedatangan SWARV menceriakan aku sekeluarga :)
Dengan wajah seiras mother in law-Mrs Chong Siew Nya (Papa bangga dengan trademark rambut cacak yang di warisi SWARV). Ku persembahkan putera tunggal ku...

What if..

Semalam bestttt....dapat main dgn anak sedara pompuan yang paling kecik (7 months) kat rumah- Nur Khairina -Anak abang sulungku . Dia sungguh suka dengan Mak Ngah dia ni.... especially bila aku dirikan dia atas perut ...gelak besar dia...aku layan blues lah sronot tgk baby gelak mengekek.. layan punya layan tetiba mak aku berkata sesuatu yang aku rasa agak nak terperanjat:

" Mak: Hah tu suka sangat tu sure kat dalam tu geng dia "

Aku terkedu sambil terpikir.. what if Junior is a baby girl? selama ni aku duk terbayang2 Jr going to be a boy since many times scanning done at Gangga Clinic, Doc will said it's a boy..mungkinkan scanning machine tu salah bagitaw jantina? That's y my baby size so small sbb dia pompuan???Aku dh prepare everything towards having a baby boy.. including nama...so far tak pernah plak terpikir nama baby girl...so up to saat ini aku masih dok terpikir.. what if....

Hmmm...kepingin btoi aku dengan baby boy...hmmm...

Cop mohor Mr Vincent

So cute :) kan? actually pernah terjumpa yg kaler merah but dh lupa blog sapa yg aku baca.. so just manage to grab this black white and orange version lah...anyway mmg nampak beno cop mohor Mr Vincent ni ha ha.. tak sangka plak ada brand name ni (jakun sebentar)

Owwwhh daku menanti hari macam2 dalam kepala ni... macam mana agaknya aku akan bersalin ek? air ketuban pecah ke? or sakit sampai berjam-jam...uuuuhh cannot imagine..

Okeh tak mo pk sangat nanti tension plak + stress....Ha esok punya tugas besar kemas bilik Juniour...I mean bukan nyer tak ready lagi tapi sesajer nak buat last minutes touch up..perabot ala kadar jer tak banyak sgt memandangkan aku akan berpindah ke rumah sewa selepas pantang nanti..

Alhamdulillah petang tadi hujan setelah sekian lama Alor Setar ni panas terik..sejuk sket suasana... actually aku dh mula rasa tanda2 nak bersalin like Jr dh gerak ke tempat paling bawah now menyebabkan aku akan slalu rasa nak terkencing like 4-5 kali ke toilet dlm masa 1/2 jam...kaki plak dh membengkak 2-2 belah.. so tidur kena letak 3 bantal kat kaki tu utk elak kan dia membengkak lagi keesokkannya-sakit tau bila solat especially bila duduk tahiyat uuuhhh rasa mcm kulit kaki yang mengembang tu bakal meletup bila2 masa..

Rite now.. rasa takut nak bersalin & teruja nak tengok baby tu sama banyak jer percentage dia..

Juniour.. macam mana yah?

Yeaaahh.. another 18 days more to go...takut ada seram sejuk ada excited pun ada.. macam2 perahsaan menimpa sampaikan aku susah nak tido mlm..29 March is the D-Day...hmmm...most of my feelings are towards happiness and excited...mcm mana rupa my 1st baby..
